Why are there still people thinking ang moh are great?

Hey, depends - not all like angmo - not all dislike angmo. Talking about Singapore girl, not all treat angmo better. I witnessed 1 singapore girl avoided one angmo man as this man tried to be funny to her. She treated him like a plague!!! Not all angmo are nice, though majority of them are. Through my dealing with them, the vast majority of them are nice, well mannered (especially those from England). Most English men (9 out of 10) are gentlemen. 
There are also some nasty ones from America, nice to people in their presence but say all sorts of nasty things behind their back. Some angmo have attitude problems, too! -

Another thing, they will look as a tourist or guest.
We also need to factor in our often cold and sometimes downright disgraceful treatment of our own service staff.
So I would say the deferential treatment is because of the image as a rich person or as a visitor/ guest, so naturally people will treat them better.

Truth is, if you have this inferiority complex don't be surprised if people treat you this way, and I'm not sure if one has the right to complain.
Case in point look at Singapore Airlines, where they actually have a policy that prohibits special treatment for westerners... however in pratice it turns out that the westerners often turn out to be the ones that are polite to the staff, respond to them, and generally be the good customer while the Singaporeans tend to have this unfriendly, you-are-my-servant mentality.
When we look at ourselves do we not realize that when it comes to being gracious customers... we have not yet really deserved the treatment we demand?
In this case can we really blame them for appearing to respond more the western customers? Granted some people have this idea that everything western is better, but I think most of them more or less treat everyone equally... but they are not treated equally by their customers in return. -

One thing I treat the good is for the sake of $$$... Ang moh are known to be more generous in giving tip....That way most people treat them most likely if u have such a good benefit... Eg my friend who work in airport get USD50 average for tip.... If others races or any particular people known to be generous than they will recieve very excellent treatment.... So the conclusion is tip tip tip....

i had this part time job as a promoter at an area densly populated with expats.
the expats were able to reject my promotions politely while most singaporeans just gave a rude-toned "no."
when those interested started questioning me, the expats were friendly and even joked with me as if i was their long time buddy.
the singaporeans treated me as if i was obliged to answer them immediately and accurately and with seriousness as if doing a business. (well i was, but notice the difference as compared to the expats?)
its just the local attitude. its screwed up. -
