Nowdays even Sheng Siong start to
place Tv ad liao....
Think they are really going into full force ahead
in the market liao
I am staying near Sheng Shiong , can see the varties
of CNY goodies really beat NTUC flat, in terms
of price also seems to be lower
will you take Sheng Siong will be the top
supermarket in terms of NTUC , giant etc
one day -
Government will make it a point that none will make it above NTUC.

Near my place at "woodgrove", used to have shop and save. It closed down... and soon after NTUC takes it place...

their things are really cheap, but the sight of the flies sticking on to sticky strip hanging down over the fruits and the smell at the fish corner made me feel disgusted.

sheng siong & shop n save looks very dirty. i dun like. NTUC much better. of cos, the best r cold storage & jason.

Oh yeah, if Sheng Siong continues to put customers first and do what they are doing now, they will beat many others, that is including NTUC. So far, I have not come across any rude service staff in Sheng Siong. They sell cheap, good stuff and provide good customer service. Well, for shoppers there really is nothing to lose to shop at Sheng Siong. -

Oh yes, for people who don't mind to pay more Cold Storage is a good choice. Most of the things in Cold STorage are much expensive compared to other supermarkets. but yar, sheng siong staff are really very polite and helpful. Got one auntie working there even calculate for me the egg price so i can save money. -

Those dried or canned food get from Sheng Shiong; Those wet things (like chicken, pork) get from NTUC.
This is how I'm going to buy CNY goodies in the coming CNY.

Now CNY season , the crowd in NTUC dun aapear to be
much near my area , however for sheng siong machiam
like so crowded until like buy one get one free like that
