for me,
1) if in schools, I will forget it for the first time, forgive for the 2nd time.
3rd time, I will ask the bully to stop or else I will show him, "one finger small, all 5 rolled into one, fist" theory.
2) at work, some people "needs" to step on others to stroke their egos.
For me, if I can, I just ignore and move on.
2nd time, I will approach my boss and his boss.
3rd time, I will approach my HR. -
