Can I join the Addmission in the next year?Originally posted by fymk:Do A level and remember you have only one chance. If you blow it . Bye bye MBBS in NUS.
You can go to Australia and do an undergrad med degree in University of Melbourne, UWA or Newcastle University. That's your option which will cost you 300k for living expenses plus tuition plus textbooks.
UK degree - 500k especially if it is in london.
American uni - u need a degree and then do a pre med - around 500k
What admission?Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:Can I join the Addmission in the next year?
What I means is, if I am not successful, can I apply for MBBS again the following year.Originally posted by fymk:What admission?
You need A levels ,or if your parents have money - they can enrol you in those 1 year pre-uni courses in selected universities like Melbourne University and Sydney University . That also means more money .
Oh ya , to get into med - you need to get all 85 and above for Trinity College pre uni course in University of Melbourne to get a very good chance into med school. If I remembered right , one guy got 85 in physics, chem, bio but 70+ in english and maths for trinity - he could not go into Med School.
For NUS ....virtually zit if you use a diploma frankly. Even if they did , you need to be top 1% with marks never below Distinction for all subjects.Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:What I means is, if I am not successful, can I apply for MBBS again the following year.

I don't think so. NUS only gives you one shot at the interview from what I know. That is your one chance . Fail it and bye bye NUS.
You might as well change to TP Biomedical. I don't know what TP did to get NUS to recognise their diploma for admission into Chemistry and Food Science.Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:Ditzy, you scroll to see diploma in Health Science (Nursing), they offered Medicine and Dentistry.
But if you scroll to diploma in Biomedical Science, they offered Science (Life Science) and Science (Pharmacy)
These 2 are NP diplomas. I wanna go NP.

But if you see SP diploma, even a Biomedical Science can get in Medicine.
Should I change to SP?![]()
He'll probably turn 30 first before he becomes a full-fledged doctor.Originally posted by autumncs:Why are you so eager to enter NUS Medicine right after your diploma?
You can always pursue a basic degree first (e.g. Life science, pharmacy, chemistry, bioengin, etc). After you get your Bachelor, you can apply for the Duke NUS graduate medical school. At the end of the day you still get a medical degree.
