i'm really interested in that course, only afraid that i might not be good enough to enrol into a local university after that. but i don't really like the things i'll have to study in JC, and i'll feel like the only purpose for me to study is just to score well. kind of meaningless -.-?

if u get good R4 and go to those high COP courses like engineering, generally, you have an advantage acadamically..
but dont go to mechanical enginnering

Let says if i were to register for the course on the last day of the registeration , does it affect the chances of me getting into that course?
Or is it after the registeration then they arrange the intakes by their merit scores ? -

85% of students have 5 olvl subjects pass, 25 students got 9 As.
tis implying dat students nowaday are exam-smart (exam-smart are pple good at spotting questions).
wif alot of students going to poly nowaday, i fear that the intakes to hot course will be limited, not forgetting nowaday polys also like to recruit more students from oversea and students from jc.
if u thinking of getting in, pls choose the course wisely, else u may landed up without even a place to study. -

I'v got 35 for L1R4, yes it's sickening.
Any private schools to intro tt as hotel management? I'm very interested to take this.
Btw i'm 18 going to 19, am i able to defer again? 'cause i defered once to take o level. -

Hey guys I have a very important question that i need to know fast to make decision. In order to go university from poly, what is the percentage? Top 10%?
Lets say its 10%, is it the whole poly Top 10% or just the course you are taking top 10%?

Basically, there is this private school at , [ I think, yes, I THINK ] , the starhub building that holds private business degrees. You can try there. You will graduate with a uni degree 4 years faster than anyone who takes the conventional route. Least, much earlier, that was what I heard. Maybe you can check with them to see if they offer any courses which you might like.

I am under the impression its the top 5% for LOCAL university. Last year I got 28, Alot of people look down on me.. My relatives all say I waste money then urge to go NS etc..
But in the end I really study very very hard and got 18

When I got posted to a sec 5, i was disappointed and wanted to request to change class but in the end didn't and made some good friends
I even thought of ways to skip school, I pontang, wanted to get myself suspended and wanted to quit sch halfway for the oct intake... but im glad i didn't -
