How do i appeal ? Write a letter or apply online ?Originally posted by godzillaliu88:can try to appeal for it.
you may need to go through an interview.
I like your CAP button why you post adviceOriginally posted by forum_dude:LECTURES AND PRACTICAL, PRACTICAL FOR YR1-2 NORMALLY BETWEEN 3-4HRS, NOW I YR3 GOT A PRAC THAT IS 6HRS BUT IT IS SLACKING
IT IS NOT TOUGH WHEN U HAVE INTEREST OR HAVE ATTAIN LIKE B FOR ALL THE SCIENCE(LIKE COMBINED SCI OR EVEN PURE SCI) BUT U WILL STRUGGLE LIKE FUC K WHEN U DON LIKE SCI AND MAYBE A FAIL FOR YOUR O LVL
BTW, BIOMED SCI OSO GOT MATHS MODULE WHICH HAVE INTEGRATION,STATISTICS AND DIFFERENTIATION
Ask them for the course, but you must tell them that you will retake O level math in order to meet the requirement.Originally posted by Unidentified:was wondering , i pass all my subject but my math got a 7
but i wanted to go for a science course Chemical Proces Techonology Or Food Technology which required a 6 for math.
Is it possible for me to get in the course ?
The COP for TOP biomedical is 11 +/ - 2 . I only got 17, that's the reason I put is in low down in the list.Originally posted by SingaporeMacross:Darkness:
might want to consider TP Biomedical. It seems like NUS let's them take more courses than the rest. It might change in the future of course.
I'm from NYP Biotech, anyway.![]()

Yes.Originally posted by furb:Going to MI will result in longer study in University?
With good GPA, poly student can gain direct entry to Year 2 Uni and can exempt up to 40 MCOriginally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Yes.
JC and MI do A Levels, which means no direct entry to uni (if I'm not wrong)
Whereas JC students spend 2 years to get an A Level cert, MI students spend 3 years.
Compared with a poly student who spend 3 years to get a diploma and gaining direct entry...
Yea i know , but how do i appeal ?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Appeal![]()
Usually to appeal, it's through DAE. There will be another DAE session after the results are released if I'm not wrong. You will choose the course you want, and go for an interview. If you do well, good for you. If you screw it, kiss it goodbye. Usually will require some portfolio of sorts also... so prepare your portfolio now...Originally posted by Unidentified:Yea i know , but how do i appeal ?
And if i tell them i will retake my o lvl math , wil that mean they will let me take the course 1st , then take math as private candidate in that year ?
Buy totoOriginally posted by crofty:My only opinion is..everyone have their different interest but my advise is not to waste any of the choices..which means..put a different course code for all![]()

SUCH AS CELL CULTURE, GROWING OF BACTERIA, CLONING, EXTRACTING GLAND FROM FLIES, KILLING OF MICE AND TEACHING U THE CORRECT ASCEPTIC TECHNIQUE OF HANDLING THE TESTUBES THERE SO AS NOT TO CONTAMINATE.
SOMETIMES PRAC MAY BE BORING, SOMETIMES IT IS FUN TO PLAY. PRAC WILL ONLY START TO GET MORE CHIM AT YR2 AND VERY CHIM AT YR3 SO THTS Y U NEED TO HAVE THE PASSION OR INTEREST IN THE SUBJECT.
BIOMED JOBS AH, NOT VERY SURE, MAYBE START OUT AS LABORATORY ASSISTANT? OR MAYBE TSO(TECHINCAL SUPPORT OFFICER) IN THE SCHOOL.
