great...you qualified to be a jc student...Originally posted by snop_coolz:ya lor..less then 2k..its really not high paying..but i can say anything online..even if in the end i go poly..and i tell u i go jc..u nv noe.. -->the fire
I agree...I am in biomed in poly...it's only you get super high qulifications in science courses that you can do something that is considered proper in the industry..otherwise it's seriously washing test tubes for u...Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:1. about $1.5k per month to wash test tube as lab assistant.
2. You must get a degree in Dentistry in order to practice a dentist. Each year intake at NUS is about 16.
3. It's once of the easiest course to take but I think 16 not possible. Those COP is single digit.
4. Dip holder can be accounting assistant. $1.5k per month.
5. Same as No.1, YOu can only wash test tube with dip. Unless you really want to advance into Biomedical, I advice you to chiong to PhD. Anything below and you can wash test tube le. The real research only is done by PhDs.
6. No exact percentage. You chances is base on your 80% poly result and 20% O Level result.
Hope this helps you![]()
I not sure about psychology and social service dip.Originally posted by snop_coolz:ya lor..less then 2k..its really not high paying..but i can say anything online..even if in the end i go poly..and i tell u i go jc..u nv noe.. -->the fire
hummm...then if biotech rite..theres a certain chance of the dip holder gets to attend medicine at U rite..wats the chance? cos the degree i really really wanted is actually medicine.. and yes..it pays well although have to study a few years...also..i m really interested in health science..
also..saw the psychology and social service dip...humm..wat it takes to b a psychiatrist cos it sound really interesting but does the dip lead me to that..? i am sure a psychiatrist is well paying rite
medicine in NUS intake is about 200++. Dentistry is about 16+. Psychology not sure.Originally posted by snop_coolz:wa..but biomed rite..competition fierce or not?? cos biomed can go medicine in U also..rite..wats the %? i really wanna go for Medicine..else dentistry..or psychology..only these 3 turns me on![]()
or rather in general..science turn me on nia..
If you want to go engineering, you to the lastest few. Like Aerospace etc. These are those which still got many prospect.Originally posted by snop_coolz:cos i m not interested..and my relatives told me..engineering is dying..cos they work in that prospect 1 ..

I dunno how to become a psychiatrist.Originally posted by snop_coolz:after biotech then i take medicine in U and i still need another course to b doctor? lets say general practitioner or medicine grad = general practitioner..
where to study to b psychiatrist ??
BUt after your degree in medicine in NUS, must do housemanship for 5 yearsOriginally posted by Darkness_hacker99:I dunno how to become a psychiatrist.
If you really want I tell you.
Go uni take medicine..
Then go overseas to study pre-med abt 4 years. Then study medical abt 4~6 years depend on speciality.
Chemistry and Biology/physic. Good GP. and rest also included in calculating the agregate.Originally posted by snop_coolz:hummm...so after medicine at nus i must do housemanship for about 5 years?
or after medicine must take another course for 4 years then housemanship for 5 yr
cos i m thinking about general practitioner..less stressful and able to reach out more to the needy in the sociality..
humm...but for medicine from MI to U need wat any 1 have any idea?
