ok..so..now i deciding for my course..but i want to know..which course can land me a good job with good pay..my interest and area of strength is mainly sciences and chinese rank next with maths and A maths..
1. so..want to ask..is biotech gonna prosper in times to come and how much is the starting pay for a biotech dip holder..
2. next..dental health and therapy..after i finish that dip m i a dentist or wat? can i work for the gov sector hospital ? and can i open my own clinic ? and how much does a dentist earn now..
3. next..optemetry..16 points got chance? y ppl say its good?
4. business..now really my best strength area..but still if got gals..y not =P no lar..i wanna noe how will it land me a job as..accountant?
5. biomedical..isit gonna land me a good job? pay?
6. lastly..wats the % U open up for dip holder..cos some 1 said 5%-10% was not the exact figure..

2. You must get a degree in Dentistry in order to practice a dentist. Each year intake at NUS is about 16.
3. It's once of the easiest course to take but I think 16 not possible. Those COP is single digit.
4. Dip holder can be accounting assistant. $1.5k per month.
5. Same as No.1, YOu can only wash test tube with dip. Unless you really want to advance into Biomedical, I advice you to chiong to PhD. Anything below and you can wash test tube le. The real research only is done by PhDs.
6. No exact percentage. You chances is base on your 80% poly result and 20% O Level result.

So he and his friends gonna register into poly to snatch places

hummm...then if biotech rite..theres a certain chance of the dip holder gets to attend medicine at U rite..wats the chance? cos the degree i really really wanted is actually medicine.. and yes..it pays well although have to study a few years...also..i m really interested in health science..
also..saw the psychology and social service dip...humm..wat it takes to b a psychiatrist cos it sound really interesting but does the dip lead me to that..? i am sure a psychiatrist is well paying rite -
i can go MI nia..jc is not in the list..if jc have to appeal...but even if appeal go innova for fark..i wanna go CJC the uniform more chio..lol....

I know of a 10 pointer considering poly here...least the 15 pointer..=P
poly is now the safer route..I have heard more than enough cases of JC students coming over to poly either after their first yr or after their A's..So these ppl would rather just go poly straight. Not like cannot go Uni after that... -

Go uni take medicine..
Then go overseas to study pre-med abt 4 years. Then study medical abt 4~6 years depend on speciality. -

Basically, Must be a top top top study of A level to get into Medicine in NUS
