I need help on JC

I got 12 points for r5 and want to go to a good jc.
however i cant decide on what jc to choose
my choices so far:
meridian - too stressful
catholic - too slack
nanyang - too cheena
anderson - super boring depressing sch (from what i heard, no offence to any anderson students)
i wanna try for ACJC but i dont think i can make it given the fact i have only 1 damn bonus point and i need 9 to get into ARTS =( -

CJ !! the uniform chio..and its middle jc rite? so its not really too slack and too strict..also..think bout the location...

its never about the colleges. its about how you can adapt into the jc system.

ur point ar, ajc, nyjc or sajc will be gd...
but i will recommend u to go aj pj or nyjc... -
anw heard that sajc isn't a good jc..this year think their cutoff dropped.how about jjc or cjc,are they any good?

by their rankings?
choose the one nearest to ur house lah

not only by their rankings,maybe by their culture?i don't want to go to a jc that's all study and no fun.i went to jjc in the first 3 mnths and it's quite fun.but too bad mum dont wanna me to stay.

u can go to a damn happening sch but if u do not participate or do not enjoy the activities, then it's no diff
u can go to a not-so-happening sch but if u are taking initiative to be involved in things and enjoyng urself then it does not matter already rite? -
out of the schools you (topicstarter) listed i suggest anderson, nanyang or ac. anderson is not boring. and nanyang isnt cheena just cos its name sounds chinese. acjc is not as happening as most people say it is.

well, after all the bonus points are applied you have like 11 pts, not enough to enter even AJ (which is super boring, i agree)... Can appeal if your CCA record is decent though, so its not the end of the world.
NYJ isn't really THAT cheena, though the name suggests otherwise, tho I have heard that its really slack.
If you don't mind a stressful environment and an unusually high chance of being retained in JC1, consider MJ, its pretty good if you ignore everything else and only want a good A'lvl result.
Or if you dunno where to go, go CJ
