meridian is stressful... if it's good stress like the people are hardworking and willing to excel.. why not, in fact i think it's a good thing
catholic jc is up and coming... the past stereotype will no longer work... in fact under the current principal.. things are looking much better.
Nanyang and Anderson may be too cheena or too boring... but that's really your own narrow perspective... the school is made up of so many people!!
surely you can find a bunch of people, from class or CCA with the same 'frequency' as you. Don't just cast the school aside because of the supposed culture, base the school on it's academic strength and maybe CCA records.
I came from the well-known " grey'' college, but I found that it was not that 'boring or super mugger' as i first envisioned when I just got my O level results. it's really who you want to mix with... I got great friends from JC... and really wonderful experience there..
so yep... do think abt it -

i wanna go to a sch thats fun as well but not too slack. i feel that if i go to a sch thats so depressing and only study all the time, i cant bring myself to wake up everyday at 6 just to go to sch. its like waking up on an O lvl exam day EVERYDAY!! i hope ur understand how i feel.
im not the mugger type so if lets say i go meridian, i canot cope with all the stress.
from what i heard, CJ is damn slack..and i might retain..i got lots of friends in CJ and all say its fun and all...but i also have graduated CJCers who say that CJC has really crappy teachers..im not sure about that..
also,
I HEARD that students enter SA with good grades but come out with mediocre A lvl results...
I wanna go ACJC!! but i duno whether my appeal can get in.

E maths -a1
Combined sci - phy, chem -a1
Combined humans - SS, hist -b3
Design and Tech -b3

chinese -b3
who would want some DnT student???
in terms of cca, well..i was from the national team in karate till sec 4..but i acjc has no karate...and i dont wanna continue karate in JC... -
follow your heart and just try to enter the jc of your choice lar.We are not studying for you what, ultimately, you are the one who's going to be there for the next 2 years

and have a close group of friends to support u through

just choose a jc that is closest to ur house. In the end, it is the A's results that matters the most. Do note that u got 12 pts, u dun hv much choices. Pondering too much may not b of any help

If you cannot get into JC Arts and get into some JC Science course, you're gonna have a hard time without A Maths. -

Anyway, what's really important is the friends you will be making in school. Even if your sch's P is an a--, at least you will have friends who will stick with you and join you in denouncing him/her

If u want to do arts go CJC, SAJC. Meridian & Temasek also not bad though stressful. Many of their students made into to NUS Arts. Not sure abt the other jcs -
but nanyang allows me to take h2 maths even without A maths.
many people say no A maths will die but i know of people who are coping really well with h2 maths without a maths background...although slightly harder, but its still manageable...
can i try appealing into acjc??? my friends say the principal there might allow... -
