this is the map of karon beach,above the map,if it's extented it's the patong beach le.
actually initially dunno whether which beach to choose but after finding n searching as well as some advises,had chosen patong cos that side got more entertainments...heee... -

i'm actually looking to chill out with my gf in May at Phuket after shopping in BKK. so patong wouldnt be a wise choice for me. Karon seems too near to Patong so i might go over to Kata instead.
yup i went the webbie and did some research on my own before i gave up on Patong. how long u staying? leaving end of march/feb ? -
One really gorgeous diving site recommended by my friend was Similan, you guys can run a search. Heard that you can see whalesharks there.

For Pubs,be sure to try Molly Malone Irish Pub.Good pub with band,age limit is 20 but 18yrs+ should be able to enter.Located near the Patong seaside;Macdonald area and Sam Steak
Fine Cuisine Food:
Head to Sam Steak inside one hotel..excellent food and ambience,its in the top 10 resturant in Phuket.Located at seaside,see top

phuket town got pubs & night clubs. but no massage parlours and tiger show leh.
try to go for the elephant eco tour, and the Simon Caberet Shows. Expensive but very worth it. -

The patong beach resort we stay is a really nice ,it's jus next to patong beach hotel..or actually they are connected together.
we also went to other hotel n resorts to see,the most eyes caughting ones is the burasari resort.it's stunning on it's decoration n building.taken some pic there..haha
we also went
went phi phi island,snorkelling n had lunch jus at 700baht in a package= S$30+
there's lot of tour booth over patong beach
they also have package offered to krabi,elephant tour n other sport activity very cheap at 1400baht=S$60+
