  Friends who made use of you as a habit are not call friends.
  
  To me friends should help each other. I wont call it making use but of course if that so call friend only comes to you when he/she needs help.... think u better distance yourself from that person.

  i think there is no need for debate. most of us have the same notion with regard to friends, and these have been stated in the replies.

  Friends is all about helping each other mah. If like that also call making use of each other then how will you have any friends?

  There are some people who I make use of and take advantage of. And there is a certain group of people who I call friends who help me do things.

  IMO simple things like asking you to accompany him/her to buy some things is considered as making use off.
  Things like asking you to help him get the number of his dream girl is making use of.
  You feeling bored and calling him up to talk to is considered making use of him.
  
  The term "making use" does not mean its life and death matter.
  And you backstab me i backstab you. Most of the times its just simple simple things that we dont realise i think.

  ..... first and foremost you need to read books on the definition of good friends. There is nothing to debate about when you do not have the basic idea of what makes a friend.
