Can anyone tell me which parts of pulau ubin is haunted?
I was there last year for OBS and it felt creepy... -
everywhere is haunted

near one empty house
and got one well there

And another pair freaked out after seeing something, we at the gathering point heard them scream so loud from the forest. And they die die refused to tell us what they saw. -
tt time we did a night solo walk in a small forested path at ubin
my hubby and I also spent quite long time in a small path off the road cos of scenario training (waiting for people to come rescue us) middle of the night
but dunno leh. Didn't meet anything ba so mebbe we lucky.
A group of my friends on the other hand while waiting to go solo walk suddenly had a wild animal rush out at them. Maybe iguana. That really frightened them.
but uhh. ya.
OH i heard though, my friend who did some historical research at ubin. There is a small english style bungalow at ubin, very deserted already. Looks like tudor housing type, stone bungalow. The villagers themselves told him it was very haunted and not supposed to stay there overnight. We went to explore it in the daytime, looked ok ba. Very pretty place

That time I went there for OBS, the people sleeping in tents that are near the quarry can hear ghostly singings of unknown languages coming from the quarry. Stangely, my tent could not hear them even though we are just 2 tents away.
It is rumoured that in the past, there is a mining incident where many miners where burried. The company refused to dig them up and the dead could not get out of the place. It is also rumoured that when the birds around the quarry flew away, it is time to get out of the water, as the birds are supposed to "protect" the people swimming by pecking the hands of the ghosts grabbing the legs of the swimmers. -

I used to go to this particular quarry which is split in the middle, a path leading down gently to one of the quarry pools with high cliffs on all sides.
It was simply lovely. Hardly anybody, clear waters, picnic by the side, dive from the big rocks.
But too bad, too many risk takers who drowned cos they think they can swim very well but forget that its hard water. So very sadly now not 'allowed' to go swimming there already. -
