Well, if not mistaken, RF cable is $1 / metre and signal strength will go down.
Can attach a booster by starhub but will cost like $60++. and That's exclusive of truckroll.
I suggest getting a cable point installed in your room. In long run solves your problem. Think of the $152.50 cost over the long run. Saves you a lot of trouble and you can enjoy cable tv in your room too. lol.
Landed property price will be higher since you actually cable up your place, as opposed to non cable ready ones. Not to mention you even have 2 cable points in your house. You defintely can jack the price more than $152.50 for that one more cable point.
Weak signal = Got signal. It won't affect speed. Connection have/ don't have is dependent on got/ no signal. Weak signal means more chance that you MIGHT encounter interminnent dso because ur com might not be able to detect a signal at times. Heard it from a friend who is a tech. Hope it helps.
Hmmm
How come nobody recommend running a CAT5e cable?
Its cheap and feasible if the distance is less than 100m (which is quite long actually)
