Sexism - Female's ability undermined!

Dont the ladies feel like sometimes they are invisible? Seems like when you are in a meeting with men, and you make a suggestion, everyone doesn't seem to hear anything. However, when a man makes a suggestion that is exactly like yours, everyone seem to be full of awe that the man has come up with such an incredible idea.
Does Sexism still exist in the contemporary society in Singapore? Where is the equality of men and women? Why must women take the surname of the men and not the other way round? Why are there fewer percentage of women than men in the government sector? Why are majority of the jobs offered to men rather than women?
I think we, ladies, should stand up for ourselves for once and for all, to show the men that we are capable, if not more. -

sexism exist in all area of life -
on the flipside, i know of some girls who are complaining that they dont want the equality shit. they want to have someone just take care of them, someone to drive while they can slp as a passenger, someone to go out to work while they can just be "tai tai"
anyways, there are societies in the world where families take on the female's surname. in these societies (somewhere near mount everest have, and amazon river there also have), the women make all the decisions, the village heads and in charge are women, and the women handle everything. the men simply just er.. enjoy, relax at home, eat, play, etc.
if u want u can always migrate and join those societies, but trust me, every girl in my class during the period we studied these societies chose to remain here and strive to be pampered princesses.
so, several females CHOOSE not to apply for jobs which may result in lesser numbers of them working.
but granted, your colleagues may be sexist. but then, what's your position and the male copycat's position in the company? another factor is - how's ur people skills compared to his?
are u sure nobody listened simply because of your gender? There are female CEOs, managers, etc. so why must sexism be judged based on your point of view alone? -

the promblem with women is this,
things that is bending towards their benfits they shut up, for example the law where it sides women. did we see any women that wants that to be changed ?
and the law is suppose to be fair....right.... kaoz....... -
Man and woman have their own fair share of burden, we have never been given equal rights, the law tend to be in favor of woman, and man are always at blame if a woman was to cry rape, even the man never commit at all, still the reputation will be tarnish, there is a true case before...........

Chances are to be earned, if you can prove that you can do a much better job than man, i am sure the boss will recognise your talent, no point whining about man is not treating you with respect, prove to them that you can stand at a equal ground with man, woman enter to the work society, two years early than man, by then, you have gather enough work experience, woman are tend to be at an advantage, but since you overlook that point, what to do, whine about sexism, complain at one corner, nothing has been done at all, except that your fingers has moved on the keyboard.
