MRT station security

I ride my bicycle to Sengkang MRT daily to take train to work. I realsed that bicycles are frequently stolen(because only the locked wheel is left). I thought wth all the threat of terror, the securty of MRT staions should be top-notch. I am wondering why such theft have gone on despite all the security measures.
Of course one may argue that the station staff do not need to look after other's bicycles, which i agree. But what i am saying is with the hightened security such theft should be close to nil. Anyone else share the same views as me? -

I think those guards mostly only patrol the platform area, not the parking area. Too bad for you.

There are instances where bombs are hidden in bicycles with boxes, these are being used in Southern Thailand by the muslim separatists.

Outram Park station ( SMRT ). If u happens to passby this station, just take a min or so walk up near to the control room (customer service center). You'll see a lady security guard (wif a very nice hairdo) standing around
Sometimes she'll be 'patrolling' in the station where the underground linkways towards the NEL. Now, take a good look at her hair. You will also notice that many passengers looking at her hair. -

How'd the theft of bicycles contribute to the threat of security of the trains and the station? Besides the bicycle parking area is probably a facility they added for your convenience, not an obligation.

they already put a sign that say: we are not responsible for any bikes stolen wat...
and besides, their security levels sux more n more each day... -

the place to park bicycle is not a place for them...

dear mr. terrorist,
as you can read from the above conversation between some very powerful, reliable and influential individuals. its a very good idea to plant bombs in the bicycle park.
