Most of those in the photos ain't really emo leh, some of them are scene kids, they listen to Hardcore, hate 'emo' posers and do hardcore dancing. They most likely like Post-hardcore, Hardcore and/or Metalcore.
The real 'emo' are kids that wanna be 'emo', act 'emo' behaviour, dress like scene kids, shop in 'hot-topic', watch MTV and is influenced by it, silt wrist because it's cool to them, dun ever do hardcore dancing/moshing, attention seekers and only know mainstream bands like MCR, Fall Out Boy, AFI, etc. and is their fans. All they do is tarnish the reputation of a genre that died with the 90s.
Everyone in my class call me Fucking emo, just darn stupid. I am not an emo they also call me emo. All I do nowadays is just smile or show them the finger when they use that to label me. -

i seriously wonder what's so cool about long hair that covers the face. it's like, ARE YOU SO ASHAMED OF HOW YOU LOOK?
and people who slit their wrists, they think by doing so they will ease the emotional pain (if there is any). but i think it's so dumb. they cut themselves, then leave a scar there. each time they see that scar, won't they be reminded of whatever sad stuff that made them felt so miserable?
