What's with our guys?

In Singaporean forums (mainly sgforums, hardwarezone and yahoo), quite a number of local boys LOVES to post about girl stuff, and ahem, sex.
It's not considered as unusual to see several topics on the same subjects - hot girls (eg. which body part you like to bio) and ahem, sex.
I've been to other forums too, both Asia-based and of the West. Both types naturally do not avoid such topics, but they are most usually vulgar and crude, which is the exact way our local boys talks about... well, you know. *points above*
And the number of those topics, cannot beat even one of Singaporean forums even when combined together.
Even in those non-Singaporean forums, who were the guys who goes crude (about the S topic), and would lose control of their hormones by harping on hot girls and the S topic the most?
Yep, you got it right. It's the Singaporean guy.
From almost out of nothing, a typical Singaporean guy seems to have the special ability to sudden say something sexual, which might or might not be out of context.
Worse thing is, it seems to be a local culture. Ah, those very memorable 'cheeb*e', 'c**t', 'lanji*o' etc. are frequently used and few seems to think that something's wrong until someone cared enough to point it out to them. Even so, they might laugh and brush it off.
Singapore = conservative society? BS. Those Western media should pay a visit to our local forums and see how much we love talking about female bodyparts, genitals and ah, the S topic.
I wonder if this is a by-product of too much suppression from the government (eg. censorship).
I'm not whining or something. Just very curious why something like this is happening. -

nothing wrong with being horny or sex minded. the problem is, sad but true, sg boys will joke about sex at every turn, in fact that seemed to be the only thing funny to say. they cannot crack other forms of joke. if they wanna be funny, they mention sex. its a little crude, and happens in daily life. its already becoming acceptable. but its usually not the case with foreigners.

It's probably the anonymity which the internet offers. You will never see them talk so brazenly in real life.

You know, I could have sued and charged my ex-head (I've since left the job) many times over because he made sexually harrassing remarks to me, and to a female PRC colleague.
The good thing is, we know he's only joking around, not being serious and is quite harmless. And really, other than his chosen manner of teasing, he's a great guy.
The bad thing is, we still don't like that sort of attitude and it's very tasteless, especially when it happens on a regular or frequent basis. -
