from my experiences. singapore nite spots are wild.and the white guys arnt necessary as liberated as we imagined.
singaporeans arnt conservative compared to other asia countries.

Too much suppression; the more you try to control, it makes one even more curious to explore. Puberty? And of cos, not to mention, is this group of guys a good representation of the whole male population of Singapore. Probably they could be only a small branch.

Yep, you got it right. It's the Singaporean guy.
From almost out of nothing, a typical Singaporean guy seems to have the special ability to sudden say something sexual, which might or might not be out of context.
Worse thing is, it seems to be a local culture. Ah, those very memorable 'cheeb*e', 'c**t', 'lanji*o' etc. are frequently used and few seems to think that something's wrong until someone cared enough to point it out to them. Even so, they might laugh and brush it off.
Singapore = conservative society? BS. Those Western media should pay a visit to our local forums and see how much we love talking about female bodyparts, genitals and ah, the S topic.
I wonder if this is a by-product of too much suppression from the government (eg. censorship).
I'm not whining or something. Just very curious why something like this is happening.
I think that this is because Singaporeans are in a sexual no man's land. The people are confused. Prostitution is illegal but just go to Geylang and it is openly available.

So when people are confused... they have to try to figure it all out for themselves and one way is to express themselves in the forums. Until they come to terms with it, the issue is in their head all the time and they talk about it constantly.
It is only natural that many Singaporeans think about sex all the time since they are suppressed and it does not make any sense. -

In one of the Asian forum I frequent (where two or three local boys goes over the top with their frequent s-talk), I actually got a PM from this Australian-VietnamChinese online friend who asked if all Singaporean guys are like that, because the samples he had seen are giving him a bad, AND a lowly impression of Singaporean guys.
It might be 'Uniquely Singaporean', but it's not a good one.

I don't think Singapore made that many good impressions especially in the courtesy department.
