  if u r unreactive..there will always b reactive ppl..but when a common topic comes and get u interested..chances u will not b unreactive..
  
  eg. a gal u interested in..asked u out and talk to u...then u realise all the topic she keep yanking is crap to u....no chemistry
  
  a gal u not interested in asked u out and talked to u..although u not interested in her..but if she talked about something u both had in common..u will b interested and share ur opinion..

  Actually lunch is a very good time to ask and know more things. Working cannot just bury your head in work ma. Must know the environment and the people also. And lunch is the best time. *winks*

  also, when you ask question and they answer with one-two words, how do u continue to prolong the conversation and make it more interesting? ask more questions? because everytime i ask more questions, they use more one-word answers.

  My personal experience was that when i am with a group of girls,i generally don't talk much,just listen to what they say,when they ask me something,then i answer,cause for my case,i might say something wrong and sometimes some girls very niao,abit abit also cannot,but if it one to one then different loh have to talk about work,study,etc.

  actually, the best is to talk abt past-time or work related one, then slowly move to other topics.
  its not easy to start up a conversation esp if u r a shy one.
  but by talking abt something in common(hobby/past-time) will help to enhance in a further discussion.
  eg: U : eh, wad u all do after work one? (must sound casual)
  SHEs : blah blah blah..

  talk to them things like erh 7% gst how they feel? for moring maybe ask if they had breakfast alrdy, if not bring them to a kopitiam to have those standard breakfast. Then slowly progress ah, like ask did she had a good sleep last night etcetc but not too overboard eh.
