the bottom line is.. be careful of what you eat in China. Other examples of "immoral" food include:
1: chemical-laced duck eggs. 1 in 12 natural duck eggs will have a red yolk. Red yolk duck eggs are henced prized. Unethical duck farmers hence feed the ducks with this " su dan " (sorry duno how to translate to english. i saw this on china's new channel ) chemical. This caused every egg to have a red yolk. It was later found out that this chemical is highly cancerous.
2: Chicken eggs are manufactured artifically with chemical compounds such as industrial paint etc. Some people actually tried it and it tastes quite close to actual eggs.
3: "clean and green" campaigns have hit china citizens. Some " enterprising " citizens have took upon themselves to collect used disposable chopsticks, washing them with sulphuric acid , repackage it and sell them for use again in restaurants. Needless to say, this is very dangerous as people will be imbibing trace amounts of sulphuric acid.
4: Worse of all.. theres some unethical businessmen who artifically manufacture milk powder meant for infant consumption. This tastes just like real milk.. except that it has no nutrient value. Parents only find out after the baby die of starvation.. -

hmm... I would take this story about the human milk replacing cow's milk thingy with a huge pinch of salt. Look at it this way ------- 1 cow can give you several litres of milk a day, that's cheap.. 1 human mother can give you 1 litre of milk at a session/day? I don't think so. Can your mother feed you with 1 litre of milk a day in one session? Maybe, most likely not. I watched as my wife used the pump to get milk for our daughter, when daughter was several months of age. Daughter somehow dun like to suckle. That session can only produce less than 200ml of milk. So maybe, in 24 hours, perhaps can get 1 litre of milk. It would be time consuming and much more expensive for the restaurant than buying cartons of milk, in bulk.
