last week,my friend called me and said last night while he was smoking,he accidentally drop a stick of Cigarette on the floor but he do not know about it. The next day when he work up then he realize that he drop his Cigarette because either his mother or his father saw it had pick it up and put it on the table.He wanted to tell his parents that last night i went over to his house and accidentally drop it as an excuse.But i told him not to use my name as I'll surely have a bad impression for his parents.The next thing he did was give attitude and hung my phone.Guess what he did next?He change his MSN nick to "NOW I KNOW WHAT IT TRUE FRIEND "
Please tell me am i in a wrong? what is true friends for? -

You are concern only about YOUR impression with his parent. Its not as if you care about HIS inability to be responsible for his action or HIS problem with smoking.
I expect my friend to stand by me as I would stand by them. If they don't want to help me, I expect to have better reasons than my parents' impression of them. -
