  I believe everyone here have such experiences.
  
  A person call your handphone, and then say looking for xxx, when you are not xxx. Then naturally, first instinct, you say wrong number, but the person will then say out your handphone number to check, which is correct. Next thing I will do is just say "no such person" and then end the call.
  
  I wonder why the hell they have the correct number but the wrong person. My number is 5/6 years already leh. Handphones were just beginning to be common. Some kind of prank?
  
  Like to know hor, when the person say out your handphone number which is correct, how else will you reply ah? As said, sometimes, I'm still quite shocked how come like that.

  maybe the person jot down the wrong number, hence end up calling you.

  haha my no is 7 yrs old. but still have such experiences.. but normally is they dialed the wrong number.

  i believe when ppl call your number wrongly, they are keying the number themself.. so it is either from 8 to 2 they key wrongly or they testing

  pple give h/p number give one number wrong or pple copy one number wrong. very easy and common one lah.

  got loh! i have this incident but the person called my hse.
  
  1st attempt:
  
  Me : Hello.
  
  She : " hello .. Finance department arh?"
  
  Me : No , wrong number.
  
  She : "Har? This is not SCDF meh ?"
  
  Me : THIS IS MY HOUSE LAR!! *HANG UP*
  
  few weeks later.
  
  2nd attempt
  
  She : Hello , SCDF right
  
  Me : this is my house lah!
  
  She : *HangUp*
  
  Me : i saw the number from caller display and i find her SUPER RUDE, i called back.
  
  She : Hello.
  
  Me : hey , u check the number before u call okie! this is not the first time already. u been calling my hse few times a week.
  
  She : Sorry lar!
  
  Me : i called back AGAIN.
  
  She : Hello la?!
  
  Me : U ARE DAMN RUDE! *HangUp*
  
  den i call SCDF to complain and gave them this number then they call the person who is a member of public.. say call wrong number.
  
  (-.-) and one thing good is that..that stupid lady never call my hse again. ^^
  
  imagine every morning like 7+ or 10+ when babies are sleeping , being disturbed by calls and the elderlys i have.
  
  show no face to such people.
