I'm planning to go on an outing wif my friends to JB one day... but my mom thinks its suicide, dangerous and like a cow boy town (people get killed every day)
I need to convince her that this is not the case in JB, or at least near the City Square area...
So, now need testimonies from people about JB as evidence... Positive and Negative feedback are both welcome... -

-if u chinese, speak in their "special accent" chinese

-dun bring expensive gadgets inside (no laptop, no PDA. if really need to bring, put dem inside ur bag n dun make it visible)
-always check whether ur wallet in ur pocket n be alert
esp those kpkb aunties who always love to show off and think nth will happen to dem, dey are the one shld watch out when dey are in JB. best if u noe malay. haha.
follow my guideline and i will say 90% u will be alright. if u wan 99% safe, den dun go

i go to jb once or twice every month. go city square, holiday plaza, pelangi, duty free mall zon or something, and some other minor places.
shop ppl frenly, taxi drivers frenly, resto cheap n good. my fwens always tok cok sing song wib the ah beng selling dvd.
no problems.
dunnoe why some ppl go kana rob, kana raped, kana this, kana that.
they put "pls rob mie" paper on their back is it?
