Ok, if she's your gf, then it's ok. Just tell her off.
But if she's someone unfamiliar or just a normal friend, then put down the phone and talk another time. Perhaps one is not attractive to her enough to justify her full attention.
I agree it's plain rude too....but no point forcing her to talk when her heart is not with me right. -

if it's girl u like or normal girl friend, then tell her 'Hey, perhaps we'll chat another time, you seem occupied with your tv and msn....?' -

I agreed, maybe not attractive enough to get her full attention, at the same time it's a waste of time talking a girl who can't get what you said fully on the phone while chatting in msn. I believe a person can't joke with two different person at the same time..

Depends on whether the conversation still carries on... If long silence in between the conversation, I would say I would say good bye and hange up...
If she can multi-task and continue the conversation without being distracted, why not?
It's just like you are (walking/working/cooking/doing your own things) while talking on the phone, if the conversation is not affected, what's there to complain about? -

...true, but doing things while talking is still possible. To talk to two different person is not the same, somehow you will miss out something important each one might had said.

if my dear is doing sth else while he is on the phone with me, i can sense it sumhow Then i will tell him to put away all those other things and focus on the conversation. but sumtimes when he is really busy then bo bian la. usually if i know he is busy with sth else i will just say i will call back later. or we will just talk for a short while so that he can go and do his work soon.

if it's like that i will just put down phone liao, tell her chat next time.... thats the problem when talkin on phone, i dislike talkin on phone becuz you cant see the person your taklin to.
i will not 'gian' talkin to her since shes not very sincere in talkin to me.... obviously that girl caught ur eyes otherwise why you care so much if shes listenin to you 100% attentively or not, right

I remember got one time I was having lunch in front of my computer, then hor someone msn me and start accusing and scolding me dunno for fark. But I blocked the person ever since and haven't unblocked yet. This person is from sgforums.
