hey, since its a gathering game, can i suggest that no personal cues r allowed? onli use of hse cues? and can we set the rules first? like whether we need to declare pot? usage of rest allowed? if scratch on break, must start behind the line or anywhere else? lastly, got time limit to aim or not? i play veri slow one, by the time i make my shot, u guys can go to the toilet, have a sh*t and come back, jus in time.

Since this is a gathering I'm sure everyone will enjoy irregardless with or without personal cues. So its not really an issue here. As for the pool game, the organizer can set it to international 8-ball pool rules to prevent any confusion.
Since its a frenly tour and not strictly competitive, time limit is not a problem but of course dont take so long lah..

well, if u want the international rule, then make sure everyone knows about it, things like if at break, at least 3 balls must touch the cushion at when cueing, the target ball must at least pot or hit a cushion except for cannons

We will play by the World Standardised Rules.
The tournament format is yet to be decided. But it will be probably 'double elimination' format where you only get eliminated after losing 2 games (so everyone plays at least 2 games)
Also, there are limited spaces (32 at the moment... might be a bit too many already), so if you want to book a spot msg me early. -

Why not we play suka suka one? those take part in Tournament go by the rules. Other players who wish to spar with each others only, then play play no international rules.
The basics: 8Ball
- Black 8 ball cannot be pocket in until you completed the 7 balls.
- Black 8 and white ball cannot be pocket in together.
- Tyco ball is consider as fault1. Meaning when you aim to enter a specific hole, it didn't enter, instead entered another hole. Fault1, player drop his turn.
- Hit wrong ball. For example, you should be hitting strips, and you hit solid full color. Consider fault1 too.
- If white ball missed your color you are hitting, consider it foul. Foul, player will lose his turn and gave his opponent a chance to select the new position of the white ball.
- If white ball entered any hole or fall away from the table, it is counted as Foul.
- If player or any object belongs to the player including the cue player is holding touches any ball excluding the whiteball. is considered as Fault1.
- At least 1 leg must touches the ground.

er... we are playing by the 'normal' set of rules. Most people who play pool in Singapore are already following the world standardised rules. It's just like soccer has its world standardised rules. But sometimes when we play ourselves we don't play offside rule, etc. -

the registration fee is $10 and covers everything so it doesnt matter whether the fee is ex or not. $10 is really affordable for a competition with 32 pple
