Put them in a small fish tank. Put a piece of rock in the middle for them to climb on. Fill the water about 2 to 3cm. Remember to feed them. Change the water when it turns dirty. For gender, turn over and look at the base of their shell. Round ones means its a female.Originally posted by kenn3th:I just got 2 terrapins, so how do i care fer them?
and how do I..

seriously... there are there are many sites out there which will teach you comprehensively how to look after them..
but MOST OF ALL, never go throw them away.. they are NOT indigenous here.. and will cause a lot of problems to the local flora and fauna

DO NOT release or throw them away because terrapins are aggressive and they destroy the local fauna
