on A4 paper:
So far, i mainly heard people using much smaller piece of paper. Didn't hear them use A4. The example in page 1 concur with what i think.
on that 30 marks question:
I have never encounter a 30 marks question with a single line answer.
i'm qouting an example so you can't have A 4 size so you bring 2 A5? it might be possible to smuggle in. just extrapolate from there.
on equations, well death already mentioned the number of terms and equations. whether they are given is really dependent on your prof.
hey we are talkign about whether the cheating will help. not whether you can remember by some long hard method. besides i'll say that you can get familiar with the equations without going to the extent of being able to regurgitate them and still use them effectively.
no you don't get 30 marks from a single line, but that single line gets you started. a most simple example would be a derivation question. some times the first step is very important. and if you forget it you can't do the question.
