Warning! I smell a scam!

This is the second call I've received in like 3 months..so with today's incident I thought I'd warn some of my fellow forumites first before I have to read about someone who fell for it.
First incident: Caller greets you, says you've won some kind of lucky draw in one of your entries in "supermarkets, restaurants, petrol stations". Then tries to take your name, oddly enough shouldn't they have your particulars if they have the lucky draw form? I let her go on, then said I didn't enter in any lucky draw. She hung up without even saying bye. Haha.
Second incident at 1:15PM today: "Good afternoon I'm Shirley calling from LaShell (spelling?)."
Me: Okay? What can I do?
Shirley: Remember when you entered in the lucky draws at supermarkets, restaurants and petrol stations?
Me: Hmm, was it the one at West Mall?
Shirley: Yes that's the one.
Me: My lucky draw at West Mall?
Shirley: Yes that's correct sir.
Me: Well I've never been to West Mall in my life so I don't know how come there's a lucky draw under my name for it.
Shirley: Okay bye.

Maybe it's legitimate, maybe it's not. You make the conclusion. I'd rather not risk having my personal particulars being used by a shell company or what not. -
You'll be surprised how many 'lucky draws' forms you fill up these days actually don't exist...

It is a scam. And the way they end the call is always damn rude.

Another one is they call you up saying that your friend (insert common name ) eg. John, David, Catherine etc wants to give you this gift from whatever lucky draw they won. -

btw, i have never get any calls like this leh.. i only recieve sms from them.. then there is 1 time someone from china sms me about some lucky draw thing.. damn funny la.. china and sg so far sia.. -

Me: "I am not authorised to give out information..."
Some guy: "It is very simple like what computers your company use?"
Me: "Acer"
Some guy: "How old are you?"
Me: "This has to stop.... " and I hung up. -

most are from timeshare/holiday travel packages companies.
I'll listen and go cos the free gifts quite attractive. but have to endure their 80min super power super aggressive sales techniques to make u sign up a plan.
btw, they earn alot too. If i not wrong, if they (the telemarkeers) managed to fix an appt, and the person comes, telemarker get $35. If the person sign up he gets $60. But my info old ones, from 3-4 years back. dunno now still similar or less liao.

Caller: "Hi, I'm Ben from E-Fusxxon. I would like to introduce you to this new product that's exclusive to special people like you. Would you be interested?"
Me: "No I'm not interested. By the way, how did you get my number?"
Caller: "I've got it from a lucky draw coupon that you've submitted."
Me: "I don't forget I've entered into any lucky draw for the past two years."
Caller: "Eerh, could it be you family members entered for you?"
Me: "Tell me how your company gets my details."
Caller: "Through the lucky draw."
Me: "Tell me how and where you got my details. If you don't tell me, I will file a police report on intrusion of privacy."
Caller: "I will call my supervisor to explain."
Me: "You jolly well do!"
Sup: "Hi, I'm Madelene, supervisor of Ben. I heard from Ben that you would want to file a police report, is it?"
Me: "Yes, if you don't tell me honestly how your company gets my details."
Sup: "Our company got your details through the Yellow Pages."
Me: "What?! You must be kidding me! First, I've only a mobile line and that's not listed. Second, Yellow Pages doesn't list mobile phone numbers in their directory! So who are you trying to kid?"
Sup: "We are just a telemarketing company on behalf of the product company. You can go and file a police report if you want."
Me: "Okay! For your information, I AM at the police station NOW!"
Sup: "Fine with me! Go ahead and file it."
Me: "Thanks for your permission! Officer, you can file it as a public disturbance call and intrusion of privacy."
*Call hung up*
