Singapore not enough land or soil for burials of domesticated pets. Unless you happen to stay in a bungalow or private land with a garden.
Imagine you try to dig a pit in da soil below your block then local authorities come ask you do simi then you know. -
My mother put the dead hamster in plastic bag, den put in stryrofoam box den burry downstairs.

my aunt has many many pets esp when i was a kid..She buried every1.
Once i saw a kitty get hit by motorcycle, i was crying and ran up find my aunt.she came with all barang barang and bury it properly.
Where we stayed had a very tranquil and peaceful place we buried them all -

I mean that thing is dead
How cruel is it to throw in a plastic bag or flush down the toliet bowl
Not that it feels anything

ErM.... last time my gf's hamster died, i took it to some grasspatch and buried it. Put the remaining hammy food there also... and some hand plcked small flowers...
