Logically Buddhists should be the most Godly of all, since whatever evil deeds they do will be paid back to them. I know a Catholic who after doing something morally wrong, cheating his clients, short-changing his staff etc... will never fail to purchase indulgences from his church.

Christians all believed in You reap what you sow too not just Buddhist. Everyone will be punished for their sins just that now Jesus take our place of punishment that's all. If you sin for the intention of knowing you will get scot free by asking for forgiveness, then you won't get forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness means this person is really in his/her heart mourning for his sin.
Finally why God created Man when he knows man will sin?
Actually no lah God created a Man that can be perfectly righteous actually. But how many people ended that way? Only 1. So God didn't created man who will sin but God created Man who could not sin but sinned.
Anyway my thread is about those perjudice opinion of man. People like those posting here... Tell everyone that Christian are hypocritical lah... etc etc all the bad things.
There are good and bad Christians, if they are even called christian. Just as there are good and bad buddhist. Why people like to say Christian are all bad based on a simple flaws that they sometime made? Christian are not perfect too who just strive to be so. -

Base on a flaw, a simple one.
it developed hatred, and decieve, blind faith, and worst of all false belief.
Some People are willing to give up alot of things for what they believe in.
Any simple flaw can developed in to something big.

Because God is a JUST GOD, he must send you to hell... but, He (according to Christians) is also a LOVING GOD and as long as you "repent" for breaking God's laws and accept the punishment (that Jesus took on your behalf) you receive a "get out of hell, free" card.
If you do not believe in the existence of GOD
and if you believe in GOD but you do not believe that GOD is exactly as the Christians say
and you do not think that Jesus is super-natural ...
and that God created hell to send people that break HIS LAWS...
If you do not believe all that, the Christian story is like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, nice.
You can also ask, "Who ask GOD to create me knowing that HE will be coming up with LAWS I cannot keep and HE will be sending me to HELL?"
if you ask this type of questions it gets complicated... because it is about "beliefs" and not logic...

The bible did spoke about been wise and important of wisdom. Thats why Isreali are one of the smartest peopel in the world. Because they value their education and etc. Not become they are born smart. Maybe genetically they are altered over generation, but the main point is still their beliefs.
The bible did talked about wealth and doesn't forbid Christian from been wealthy. In fact there are verses about riches can solve thousands of problems. These are practical lessons which some other religion abstained. That is probably why majority of the riches country in the world has great Christian influence. -

Christians believe that they are all saints but does that make it true? Of course not, it is their "belief".
You have to get it straight in your own head what "beliefs" are and what universal truths are and what is the difference between "believing that your beliefs are universal truths" and "universal truths...."
Get it clear in your own head first what you believe and the difference between "beliefs" and "facts" before you try to witness to others... especially in an open forum.... -
