Reasons to not attend a colleague wedding.

  Hey peeps, i need advise to give for not attending a colleague wedding..
  
  As my relation with this colleague is not so close, cause im mostly at site
  
  and she is from sales.. So we hardly interact.. Somemore this month abit
  
  tight with my cashflow, got a buddy wedding coming up and going for a
  
  diving vacation that month too.. Pls kindly advise what is the best way
  
  to reject the invitation.. Thks..

  scared then pack $20. if u want to save more, $10.
  
  want to save money then say you're not free so that they can extend the invitation to other people. please be considerate and inform them early.

  did ur colleague give u the invitation card already? if he/she did, u have to give hongbao no matter u are going or not...
  
  even if u are not going.. u still have to give $40 minimum..
  
  if not, then just say ur relative or good frnz wedding that nite oso.

  i tink u jus sae u can go, but sae las min cant make it. den treat her to lunch nex time. lunch usually cost less than $20rite ? better than she no u dun wan go..

  If it is still before the RSVP date stated in the invitation card, you could actually kindly decline the invitation by saying you won't be avaialable on that date...dun have to think of any excuse, just say you won't be free....and thank him/her for the invitation offered.
  
  The reason for replying ur presence before the RSVP date is to allow the couple to look for any 'backups' to invite as well as to make final headcount confirmation to the hotel staff.
  
  However, if it's already past the RSVP date, it's kind to give red packet as they may have already confirmed your seat with the hotel. You wouldn't want them to make any losses, would you? Each red packet for hotel wedding usually is between 80-100 dollars, so perhaps you could give ard that range whether you're attending or not.

  I didnt care about the RSVP date as usually the couple will ask before they send the invitation card or call & ask if I am available for the dinner.
  
  I should have save my $80 when my colleague asked me if I am attending her dinner thou' is b4 the RSVP date...

  than muz at least waste $80 for the Ang Bao is abit bo hua.. Hmm, tink i juz

  lucky lor... that time when i was working.. worst... one year, 5 bombs.. all hardly know each other.. but still i gave hongbaos... heart pain
