So your accomodation for every night was in the camper van? Are there designated parking areas?
How easy is it to settle meals? Just drive to the town everyday issit?
Yep.. V low cos its low season in NZ (late autumn). I got the campervan at NZ$70 per day.
There r designated motorcamps where u can dispose of crap n replenish fresh water etc.. and generally u r not supposed to park the camper beside the road n on private property. Generally u can camp in the ulu ulu places n no one will come n disturb.. n also i got away with camping in a residential district in Queenstown for 1 nite by turning out the lights (pretend no one inside)..
As for meals.. a few we cook by ourselves (instant pasta, bacon eggs etc) in the van, but others r generally cafe / restaurant meals that cost at least about NZ$50-60 for 2 of us each time....
Lastly we didn't really shop much or sign up for a lot of other stuff.. so that kept the expenses down.
And did i mention i got a huge discount on airfare?
