One question
In S'pore, for guys I know will wear the wedding band on the left fouth finger, but for girls? left or right? I asked around for answers, but I got both. I observe around and saw that some wear on the left, but some on right.
If we go by the saying of left guys, right girls, then it should be right. So I assume that why some girls wear it on the left finger is because they are right-handed, and it is more or less hinder their daily movement. -

There are quite a few things that you have to consider before going to get that wedding ring. And I think it's better that the couple discuss before going down.
- guys, do not expect to get the wedding ring on the first outing. Most couple source for rings between 2 to 3 months.
- Whether both want diamonds anot, dun wait till go to the jewelry there then start quarelling. My bf for one, wants diamond on his ring too.
- The price range you are willing to pay. No point see expensive rings but can't afford.
- gold or platinum? Plantinum also got different grades. Gold got different colour. Plantinum more expensive, but cannot resize.
- What you want to engrave on the insides of the ring.
- The types of designs that you both like.
- etc, etc,
For proposal rings hor, guys ar, make sure you more or less know your ah girl's preference.

I did not proposed with a ring. I made a bear and proposed to her with that. It doesn't have to be a ring. It can be something to express your sincerity.

of coz the proposal ring is just solely the guy buy for lady. usually it's a solitaire -

Yes, the left guy, right girl is chinese saying. If I remember correctly, some shows in singapore, when there is an exchange of rings, the guy will hold the right hand of the girl to put on the ring for her. And the girl will hold the left hand of the guy.
