How many real friends do you have?

It is hard to find a real friends nowaday in Singapore with our Kan cheong and selfish society.
You face your Co-workers and Bosses 13 hours a day at work until you are sick of it with Lotsa of Office Polities. After that,you go home to rest,sleep and meet them again tomorrow.
Those friends who want to meet you are MLM People, Insurance Agent people, Debt collectors, Urgent-need help People and those found you do have some value to them. You don't want to find them, they will come and find you.
Weekend, the friends you really want to go out with and have discussed in msn or sms, they will find ways to avoid you. Some of them are old classmates or someone you like to date with. They said there are busy la, they are not feeling well la, all sort of nonsences to reject you.
why people like that one? -
i m very sad.. there is 1 frend name Z whom i known for abt 10 yrs. i swear i really treasure Z alot. but then. Z is that kind of ppl who will go out wif u only when she needs u to acc her to buy stuffs(not cloths, bag etc) for herself. okie. i dont mind going to shop for HER things cos i can get to meet her i very happy. everytime she ask me out, it is cmf abt her stuffs! but when i ask her out to acc me to buy things or just to walk arnd w/o spending money, she will always reject me!
she ask me out i never reject her b4, even though if i already made arrangement to meet other frends, i will try to change the date of meeting my other frends to acc Z! this is how impt she is to me.i m really very sad.
another thing: Z gets angry very easily n dont like to listen to explainations. she will not blow her top at me. instead she will give u cold shoulders/ignore ur sms calls, dont meet up... making me very sad. i rather she yells at me or tell me whats she's angry at, so at least she will be fine after awhile right?
i can say she is a good friend as she will listen to me n encourage me when i m down. so i treasure her alot.
is Z still considered a real friends? or just using me?

Its hard to find true friends. Its easy to have lots of people who hang around just for company and to fulfill social needs and some herd instinct.
I have come to accept I am a loner. Not much of a talker. Hard worker and no nonsense person who really deliver value. Apparently, I live in th wrong country in the wrong century and in the wrong field. Because in sg, only people who make use of other people and network socially, do the social chit chat to "know" the boss better get to climb.
Anyways, I like to keep my life uncomplicated -
