  I thought HDD faulty ,u go back to the service center,for example. Toshiba HDD,u go back to Toshiba HDD service center in Sg. Go back to those shop,those Lan Jian Ah beng where got heck care u want?

  I got my DIY system from the shop next door to PC Themes. ALmost wanted to go there coz my last system was from them, but I saw their guai lan faces and then decided not to. LOL. Anyway, the shop next door gave me a lousy power supply, but other than that every else ok.
  
  Anyway... SLS got open until 9pm meh???

  videopro and fuwell. fuwell prices are starting to be less competitive, so for now i say videopro, service is pretty good as well. yeah had a bad experience with pc themes as well. they took 4 bloody hours to fix up my friends diy system.

  go report to CASE.
  
  this kind of situation requires authority, maybe you'd get your money back, or at least get a replacement. believe me, i've got similar experience and CASE helped

  there's so many threads on Sim Lim being a "black market" with so many shops that are red-crossed, and you still visit there?! I would go to Funan any day, Sim Lim is some worthless crap place which eats your money.

  WAtch out for Shop named "MILLION MOBILE" also.They have like 5stores all over simlim monopolizing handphone sales of handphone accessories.Thus their items are all HIGHLY OVERPRICED! summore look carefully their casing,skin,protector all from taiwan cheap quality goods one.Still bluff ppl top quality sell so ex!

  fuwell .. i had a unpleasant incident.. my graphic card was failing n i tried calling the shop several times but no one picked up .. i tried a few days n this ran into wks .. finally i called the tech line instead .. a ah neh picked up n gave me a super farked up ans asking me to bring down my card to a place for service . as i wasnt really good in pc n plus i dunno the place well i asked for directions n telephone number, but the ah neh didnt give such details but tried to direct me in broken england.
  
  so i went down fuwell after a couple of wks when my card finally broke down. the shop was quite managable as it is abt closing time . some guy at the counter direct me to a place again but he expect me to know for the 1st time!!he did so without any patience n was more like brushing me off cos i wasnt buying any things.
  
  i had to asked a few times n make it seemed tat he is the customer instead of me , only then he gave a number for me .. again without much directions given

  I went to SLS and asked bell a quote for a new rig with a budget of 3k.
  
  The chap was friendly, patient and pretty pro. He said, i dont need pay for over priced parts even tho he can happily earn it.
  
  So he slashed my specs to like 1.6 and 2.6k (if i insist on quadcore) nia.

  those shops on the second and third are not very trust worthy.
