Even my senior with a MCSE also don't know how to troubleshoot..
LL, we also said we will solve it but infact, we surf the net for more info..
videopro and fuwell. fuwell prices are starting to be less competitive, so for now i say videopro, service is pretty good as well. yeah had a bad experience with pc themes as well. they took 4 bloody hours to fix up my friends diy system.Did i hear someone say Videopro service good??
I'm not surprised that MCSE professionals know nuts about troubleshooting. Because that's not their jobs.Originally posted by thelesis:I, myself also a IT support office dealing with DIY system or any IT products. I will tell you straightaway. TROUBLESHOOTINg IS not that easy that looks like.

just a advice for everyone pls buy only if the shop offer local warranty with warranty card...Originally posted by eggprata:Not being racist, but im an indian myself.I think that the indian shops in Sim Lim are very bad, they tell you 1 thing and give you another.Best Bargain is 1 classic example.
Bought hdd and spoilt within a week,i call back telling em what happened and the lady was extremely rude to me as well.
The chinese shops are mostly the ones better, though expensive but saves you lotsa shit.
Don't bargain kena chopped...Originally posted by dumbdumb!:hmm. this is the advice given by a computer maintanence guy. don't bargain with them, they will make sure u lose.
anyway, its best to fix your own com yourself la, just buy the product and settle yourself
Originally posted by dumbdumb!:Good advice. Since most shops in sls are already selling the same thing, don't argue with the shop person. Just politely thank him for his time and go look around.

actually u're wrong. the stuff they sell are already the "best price". every shop you go will sell about the same price. if u bargain they get pissed, they may even switch a faulty product into your shopping bag. worse rite?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Don't bargain kena chopped...

i bought mine from fuwell, twice. i bought once from bell, but decide to go fuwell cos their stuff was expensive. fuwell, so far good service. i bought a new system from them just like 2-3 months back, got some problem with the wireless keyboard+mouse and the LCD screen. brought them back and found that the wireless keyboard+mouse is ok, the boss ? (kelvin iirc) personally connect for me and test it in front of me. as for the LCD, the young chap from phillips change a new one for me, i tot it's a dead pixel, but it turn out to be a speck of dust trapped in between the panel. nonetheless, the guy called his boss and got it replaced for me.Originally posted by Saint`:fuwell .. i had a unpleasant incident.. my graphic card was failing n i tried calling the shop several times but no one picked up .. i tried a few days n this ran into wks .. finally i called the tech line instead .. a ah neh picked up n gave me a super farked up ans asking me to bring down my card to a place for service . as i wasnt really good in pc n plus i dunno the place well i asked for directions n telephone number, but the ah neh didnt give such details but tried to direct me in broken england.
so i went down fuwell after a couple of wks when my card finally broke down. the shop was quite managable as it is abt closing time . some guy at the counter direct me to a place again but he expect me to know for the 1st time!!he did so without any patience n was more like brushing me off cos i wasnt buying any things.
i had to asked a few times n make it seemed tat he is the customer instead of me , only then he gave a number for me .. again without much directions given![]()
