  1st dont go for shop warranty...
  
  2nd buy trusted brand which has serivce center in Singapore
  
  * buy those had not been open before (seal must not be broken)
  
  have ultra bad experience in Fuwell
  >>> they are not skilled in IT and act like 1.
  Duno mean duno, dont act u are smart, in fate u are not.(one of the big size guy)
  Forgot to add* say i'd dont know that simple
  
  3rd dont go there by urself ask someone who is expert in IT field.
  
  4th better have a fren who work there so they can look after you.
  
  5th do some research first.

  ya... i think if you buy whole set like from dell hp etc. they will give you lousy parts... as in the video sound hddsk might be 'unbranded' ones... but if you fix yourself, one thing is you get to choose what you want, and it will be easier to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong... that's why i do it.

  eh my new comp i originally intended to get from video pro.. but they had no stock of E6700 dual core.. told me they can order for me.. will take a few days to come.. that was like on a thursday 1 month ago i think.. then i went home.. then i checked price lists online.. then i called them back but the guy i talked to was not there..
  
  it was late so i went back down on the next day.. then the guy who talked to me dunno disappear until where.. and i tried calling them before hand but their service over the phone was terrible.. pass me and there then tell me no stock then tell me the guy dunno where then hang up on me..
  
  so i went down and check.. the guy really not there.. i went other shops like fuwell to check whether got E6700.. to my surprise after i ask the guy say "no stock, and wont have stock until next week.. cos the processors price will drop across the board all processors drop price.. nxt week u come back sure have stock"
  
  that was nice. i left and waited. true enough, i went back 1 week later.. across the board price cuts on all intel processors.. most of them drop price between $300 - $400.. so my E6700 was priced at wad E6600 was selling at a week earlier..
  
  obviously, i wont go back to video pro. they hid the information from me and even wanted to "order" for me so I could pay first at the higher price.. but when the processor comes it will be selling to everyone else at a lower price -_-
  
  so i went back to the nice fuwell but i cant rmb who told me that.. but anyway they did not have a casing or a motherboard or a graphics card that I wanted i cant rmb which one.. so i tried several other shops.. not all of them have all the parts i wanted..
  
  i ended up in chamoxa.. they also didn't have the parts i wanted.. BUT they said they could get it.. within the same day.. so i trusted them.. I told them all the parts i wanted.. they got a me a quote.. and at least 5 items they didn't have.. but they still assured me they can get it..
  
  i put a deposit of $50.. and they also asked me whether build only or install OS also.. i was busy and i wanted everything done that day so i let them install also..
  
  they originally told me to come back at 6pm.. which was about 3 hours after cause it was abt 3pm..
  
  but called me later to tell me 7.30pm..
  
  when i reached at 7.45pm.. they were closing.. but were still very friendly and to my amazement.. they really did get all teh different parts.. oh and in the pricing of the parts they did not have like the casing i wanted, they even asked me how much i got quoted from other shops they just charge me the same.. -_- so good rite? even though he himself didn't even know the price..
  
  then while i was there at 3pm he was frantically checking the online pricelists of all the other shops finding which one got the stuff i want.. then they sent 2 employees to search the whole SLS for the casing and other stuff that I wanted..
  
  i think i told them one shop that had it but they said they were not on "good talking terms" with that shop.. lol.. so they couldn't transfer from that shop..
  
  then he was talking to his colleagues who were telling him they checked fuwell.. videopro.. etc. etc. all dun haf.. lol..
  
  i'm so happi that i didn't need to run the whole building they run for me..
  
  after building the whole setup they even help me carry to the car park o.0
  
  and they upgraded my nero 6 included in the dvd writer to nero 7 for free..
  
  oh and in total my new comp set me back by $4,600 approx.
  
  $1000 went to dell for the monitor..
  $200 went to challenger for the speakers..
  the rest were to CHAMOXA..
  
  so i recommend chamoxa.. tats my story =)

  tt y always check which 1 has good reputation. I rather go for those trustable shops. even its a bit more ex.

  My advice is pay a little bit more and get a pc from a reliable manufacturer with warrenty and onsite repair. These days, sim lim is so cut throat, they are killing themselves. No point saving a few hundred or few dollars for so much trouble. Anyway, these days manufacturer PCs are getting cheaper and cheaper.

  Take caution from buying inhouse brand PC from nonreputable shops. They can be cheaper & give 5-yr warranty. All they hv to do is to close down & open another shop with another shop name & there goes your warranty.
