Isn't it about loyalty and kinship that citizens are given a chance to study there as long as they are eligible for entry

I think with these grades, getting into engineering school shouldn't be a problem. She must have opted for business, medicine and other courses where the competition are very fierce.

If it's for Physics or Maths, I can tell you that chances are she was not allowed in because of that E. I've spent the last three years doing engineering, and I can tell you that there is no way on earth can you do engineering with a borderline pass in either subject. -

ABE to me should be more than enough to get you at least to those dumping ground degrees........ but I guess everyone is correct to mention that those born in the year of the dragon have a lot more competition. The moral of the story? Make sure you don't follow those stupid supersition and get a child on the year of the dragon.

Also nowadays the students are getting smarter. My fren's son got in FASS many years ago with BCC, now u have students with A & Bs applying.
Moreover also face competition from foreign students- there are a lot of them here!
Looks like have to study overseas if you have the money. -

Engineering would have welcomed anyone with open arms...no one wants to do it now...
