I keep telling u that it might not be juz purely an accident. Anyway, I'm juz sad that the kitten got its paw ran over. Even if the driver did not do it on purpose, I'm juz sad that it happened.
regarding the jurong killer, there were a few threads in sgf. there was articles in CWS blogsite also, maybe in the archives. If u are interested to find out more, u might want to check out sgf Cats forums and cws blog. -
paying fines are not the solution to thse abuses. it just makes people think that money can solve everything. Education! people should be taught young to be compassionate. where the hell is their heart?

those wild animals like u mentioned are big animals, and could be life threatening. And abt knocking the animal twice to kill it than to let the injury kill it, well i think it's to shorten the suffering. That, I understand.
I understand what some are u are trying to say.. that an emergency brake might be more disastrous than to run over that kitten. But we are only assuming this and that, we duno how it happened and what was the situation like. The way TS posted, it's also implying that the driver was at fault. I think that's why so many ple, including me, felt so strongly against it. -

i've seen one time whereby a car slowed down alot becuz of a pigeon on the road . But it wasn't enough . The car ran over it and there was this "kiak" sound. The pigeon appear to be killed instantly .

i once chased off a cat to help its kitten becos its tail got chewed off n the wound is swelling.
in the end, i took the kitten to a vet but i saw that the cat followed me all the way.
how r u going to save the kitten if u don't fend off the cat first??
if u can't, u r just letting the kitten walk away with an injury that may kill it.
