  My view of grown. Is that wearing is interesting but putting it is only for people who have graduate from University. You can try. It looks nice on everyone. What colour are your gown? I think is allows

  i think it's a good idea. esp some students still have no idea wat is the code of dressing for graduation ceremony.
  
  i once remembered a prc student worn a formal attire, but he worn a white sport shoes n made him look very queer when getting his award.

  I see and preceived people who wears like that is something honory. Gaining first class honour. Taking pictures with a huge crowd or with familly. Its something wonderful

  My mum waked me up "Oei.... yr friend call u to go to graduation ceremony leh"
  I replied "Not interested" and went back to sleep...
  Then, my mum remarked disappointedly "Useless, Poly graduation ceremony also dont want to go"
  Now, thinking back, haha... actually, my mum really wants to go and see me officially get the cert from poly... .><

  Anyway NUS's convocation is July 2nd week and NTU's is July last week.. Mine is on 27th July. Actually we are going to collect the certs before the ceremony in beginning of july sometime.. Which means that the convocation is just a mere stage to show that u have officially graduated from uni..
  
  And come on.. I think its quite fun to go.. U will be sort of seeing your friends "officially" as students for the last time.. haha..
