but if i jog faster then i get tired and eventually will slow down again leh...Originally posted by kenn3th:if you are able to jog with out stopping, this shows that you have the stamina, but you do not have the speed to reduce your timing.
Start by, going faster and faster, gradually, (doesnt matter if you stop), just make sure you keep jogging at that faster speed till you will not stop anymore.
2nd, since you have the stamina, have a jogging partner with you, and you guys set a pace. It helps as you will try to catch up with your partners speed, and unknowingly, you are gettting faster.
hope, this helps

Do you practise chemistry to improve your physics?Originally posted by BadzMaro:Why run when u can do a full body workout like swimming.
Do 400 Metres in 50m laps. then increase to 800mafter a few weeks. Even though u go slow.. make sure continue on. Improves ur breathing... n other skills that requires.. stamina..
Does swimming and running improves stamina ?Originally posted by Simon Dean:Do you practise chemistry to improve your physics?
ehh.... I think for this instance, this method cannot be applied. swimming does not improve stamina significantly. National swimmers do alots of gym, non-water sports to improve their stamina.Originally posted by BadzMaro:Why run when u can do a full body workout like swimming.

what he needs is an increase in speed not staminaOriginally posted by BadzMaro:Does swimming and running improves stamina ?
I dont know about you , but i never run. I represented sukma before. Yes i admit we do some gym , but we do more swimming. but if you do long distance , like 800M's u tell me thats not stamina ? Dont say butterfly or backstroke la.. just say breast stroke and freestyle. For me, my experience after i swam , i could still do running, although not much speed , but i can maintain at a constant speed and able to dash the last 50 metres , long distance like marathon.Originally posted by airgrinder:ehh.... read some swimming article that surprising swimming does not help much on fat loss too, relative to other sports. It's suppose to do with the water removes heat from the body quickly in the pool. Dunno about the exact rational.
but the best way to improve running is to run lah, as the PTI will show u when u go into NS.
issit ? i tot he wants to increase stamina. Unless u mean speed increases stamina ahOriginally posted by Simon Dean:what he needs is an increase in speed not stamina
