Who here regretted not studying hard?
I neber regret although my grades in uni is almost the bottom of the cohort
My parents are ok with it also. In fact they are happy i got into uni.

I regretted not studying hard. Now I don't even have the chance to study because I am a school drop-out. After that, I was admitted to IMH and after discharge , I am now working for IMH Occupation Programme.

how i wish i can turn back time, which i should learn to be more discipline and not too playful. study hard for my maths and i won't ended up in ITE, where i still haven't get use to the life there and i miss my friends -

How can you be sure that by studying hard gives you a better result?
Anyway, with good results dont promise you good job and good money. -

stdy doesnt mean u will be rich. but at least u wun die of hunger if u have cert.
U can choose not to stdy if u have a solid business plan in life like bill gates.
for average pple like us....stdying is some form of insurance -
LOL? for those of you who say grades dont matter, try saying that to your employer when he refuses to employ you because your marks dont make it.
unless all you want to do is a job with no skills like cleaner or cashier that kind then dont need to study also can. -

Your probabilities of landing you a job is higher with higher education, and most likely higher pay. Even when you sign on in NS, a same recruit with different level of education can earn much more. -

but those frens are really good...but they choose the wrong course to stdy.
some pple are lst class honours but when u talk to them u will doubt them (they are only good in examinations)
u r as good as u r and u dun carry ur cert around ur neck.
of course some company will only ask u for interview if u have certain grades. but thru referral and persistance, alot of my frens with pass degree got good pay and good jobs.
some working with bloomberg, top MNCs in europe etc.
However, that does not will one should not stdy hard coz not eveyrone is lucky. For me....haih...i just dun like my major.....n im not good technically.
but i know my strenghts and weaknesses.
hope i get a decent job. -

I regretted not studying harder when I came to Sec 3. My class was deemed to be the worst class in the Express stream back then, and even my form teacher had doubts about us. I remembered staying back during the Meet-the-parents session to help her give out reports books and forms, and I vividly recall she giving disparaging remarks about many of my classmates right in front of their parents. I felt really angry at that time at not studying harder, and being viewed as a bunch of useless things by our teachers, even though my form teacher was ok with me. Luckily for me, I was able to get into a JC and later got a place in NTU, although I turn it down and went to study Mass Comms in a private school. Looking back, I think maybe sometimes, its not that we never study hard, but some people are just good at other things, and studies is not it for them. As long as they can contribute to the society and have tried their best, then I think its ok even if you did not do well in ur studies. -

i might have regretted, cos i nv really study hard at all.. but somehow still managed to scrape thru just enough all the time to get into my uni course and then to graduate (somehow as usual)... problem is not i dun wan to study, but i would rather spend my time at play... been a games kid since young, transformer robots, then D&D rpg's, then boardgames and computer games, simulations.. hehe.. maybe i should just quit my job n go design games instead. That would be perfect

I don't really regret not studying hard, but rather I regret letting my parents and teachers down. My results normally start out good, but towards end of year will be only B or C. Because I study a bit a bit only. I remember my physics teacher enter me as part of a group in some competition, I told her I don't think I can cut it. But she said I can do it. In the end I let everyone down. So I do regret, and the regret stays with you forever.
It's not that I dun wan to study, but some subjects make me sleep. If the curriculum was more varied, I may have found something I liked better. In terms of looking for a job, I think results are only 1 factor. And it's important when employing fresh grads. Results can indicate relevancy, interest, time management skills, discipline, etc.
For those of you still in school, I am not saying you should go all out on studies alone, but you need to at least do enough to satisfy your own conscience. Otherwise you will have regrets... -
ya, i failed badly in my studies until a bad decision have to be made to my education.
someone will fail in their level of studies. be it pri, sec, ite, poly, jc or even uni.
demoralised? definitely, never came so low in life those I have been just an average student since young.
since I am still young and still studying, I hope I can pick myself up, move on and come out of my current state. -
