In singapore, a mail send out is consider received. SG contract law. Write to your MP and explain the whole matter to him/her.

if they dun take any of ur explanation into consideration then u dun haf a choice.
be in jail for 1-2 days sometimes depending on what offence and what erm..thing they make u pay for -

just like when ever you had a fine letter mail to you, it state your COURT DATE first unless you pay the fine within 1 week after you received this letter.
seems that you missed out on some info on your part. you just received the letter the night you going to depart ? no other way to pay fines except AXA machine ?
just go to the police station and follow up. either way , you still LL had to go on what ever GREAT IDEAS people here given you.

well i dun think MP would handle mitigation but complains against govt agencies....the best is if u can get a lawyer(if u got $$$...or dun worry...the state will assign one to u if got no $$$) get them to try help u for mitigation statment...Originally posted by Peruci1984:Does it work??? -
