But i think it is only when the friendship matures that the other person would really open up and talk to you about his/her like daily stuffs and be real close friends.
The frist stage of friendship is to get to know each other, very procedural stuffs, then comes the more intimate part when the other person knows you care to listen to them.
The next stage is when both parties have sth in common to talk about. Like hobbies, interests.
The last stage, is when both parties talk about their opinions and views on events etc.. becos this is the time when both parties feel that the other party treasures their opinions. And also when the relationship can withstand their debates when views collide.
