My hair is losing, almost botak, how?

Strangely...my mother discovered this worked for her.
Get those shallots, chop them up, or if possible, squeeze the oil and juice out of them.
apply on the bald patches and use a towel to wrap the head. Sleep in it.
She did this for a month or so and her bald patch which was with her for almost 10 years, starts to sprout new hairs.
Now her bald patch is not notice-able.
However, the smell is kinda very strong. -
