l wonder if this is true.. that guys that are more smart and talented...can teach or help gals in study stuffs or work are tend to be more appealing and attractive than those normal guys with normal brains?

gals want a lot of excitement and prefer to be with somebody exciting (who may get only average results), handsome, muscular and is confident (Alpha Male trait) to a bloody fugly nerd (bad dressing, inconfidence, inept in social situations).
thats why, it is also technically wrong to say that u prefer capable and smart guys, since smart alex would definitely fall into this category.

yes for confident but it doesnt apply to men only. women do need to have confident of themselves. but same thing apply, over confident is also a turn off.
for me, i am looking for a long term r/s, thus, i go for husband traits. I prefer guys to be homely, stable, committed, capable. definately not smart alex & playful type.
