  I was banned because one of the moderator felt threatened by me as there were more members supporting me then the moderator in a particular thread. In the end, the thread was totally deleted and I was banned. You call that fairplay? If you do then well.. I would dare say that some (probably even just one) moderators do take advantage of their privileges and act without reasons sometimes. That reflects very badly of the moderators =(
  
  I stayed well within the rules and regulations and I am always far from whining. But well, I got booted. So your argument above goes down the drain

  There is a difference between a Moderator and an Administrator.
  
  Moderators can only lock or delete threads.
  
  Personally, I always state clearly beforehand the reason, should a thread be seen liable for locking or deletion based on the negativity and the general sentiment in that thread.
  
  Secondly, those who think it should remain open, are always free to PM me about it and me and the other mods in the SAF Forum can consider the reasons.
  
  That's my style. Other people have their own way of moderating their forums.
  
  But like I said, generally following the basic courtesy of a forum and you should be fine. I do not get involved in power-play, or popularity contests for the sake of it.
  
  Heck, it's just a place to come and chill, and spend some free time.
  
  Just my two cents worth.
