Couples at LAN gaming

It is not about the amount of time spent with your loved one, it is the quality. Even if you spend 6 hours with your bf in a gaming place, but no communication at all, is dat really quality time?
At least choose a game that both of you can play together, something that both of you can talk about while playing rather than just one person playing and the other person watching. If the girl does the same thing to you, wouldn't you feel bored?

If the girlfriend never complain, then I don't see why outsiders should.
Coz I believe if the GF don't like her bf to play CS when they are out together, she should at least voice it out. If she don't, of course people are just going to assume that everything's alrite, and go do what they want. I know, the gf maybe want her bf to be happy, so keep quiet and never say anything, but if that's the case, then its just too bad. -

quite common i thk..
my gf watch me play arcade also. when she's too tired or bored, she'll lie down on the next machine..but dont blame me.. not that i dont want to finish the game faster, but people just keep challenging me.. not hao lian, but true. and when some times i thought i'm really tiring her out, i just quit the game before its completed. -
i used to play snooker and my ex sit there watching...
she enjoy it.. she will laugh when i miss the hole or watever it's funny..

he he... how about girls at clubs or karaoke or pub .. the guy drinks n talks away while the girl sits there like a vase.. sipping on her cola or orange juice. Obviously bored... but enjoying the .. 'company' :LOL! how le ?

My gf and I always do outdoor activities...boating, cycling, playing tennis etc...

I guess this problem is prevalent in S'pore as gaming is one of the most common hobby of young S'poreans.
From my experience, I see that some guys allow their gf to play with them or use another com to surf net and stuff... -

i think its great you know, for a couple to be involved in each other's hobbies.
the girl loves shopping, the guy shows love by following her, and who knows, he might like shopping too.
the guy loves gaming, and the girl wants to know more about what its like etc.
such activities can be constructive as they enable each party to understand each other a little better and can build the relationship too. it also teaches them how to compromise with each other and be tolerant etc.
i think the starter of this thread is too critical liao. comfirm single right? hahaha

haha! don't assume first ma..
i used to game with my bf.. CS.. and it was fun! and i think its considered quality time too cos we would join the same zombie team and go round killing the CTs together. lots of team work needed cos u can't just go alone.. must embush the CTs etc.. or we'll join opposite teams and 'protect' each other.. quite funny when u see a CT and T running along side each other in-game.. hehe
but sometimes, after like, 3 hours or smth, my eyes will get tired, so i'll stop.. but the hour isn't up yet, so my bf will play until the time is up (if not waste money ma..) and i'll just rest next to him to wait a while..
so maybe the girl u saw, was just resting there a while too.. maybe? -
if the gal look innocent worse..more ke lian..but guess not rite...haha...

gal shop guy bored----- ok
guy game gal bored----- not ok
why?
no offences but most gals can accept their guy being bored while they shop
and if their guys wanna do somethings by themselves and requires the gals to wait they`ll kpkb...

It all boil down to compromise. It allright to go do your stuffs and enjoy yourself while your spouse wait there for you, but just don't do over the limit la. When u sense that you had taken too much time and that your spouse is showing sign of bored or tired, then it time to stop the thing and pay attention to her...
it just like your gf wanted to go shopping and you company her even though you may find it bored, or you went playing snooker with your friend, while your gf just sit at one corridor watching your play.. -
i used to go lan gaming with my ex boyfriend. he taught me how to play(cs, c&c) den we play tgt instead of me sitting there and watch him play.
guys: if you're going to bring ur gf along, please teach her how to play.
girls: take the effort to learn how to play so you and ur bf can enjoy something similar together.
