Oh normally I would recommend the Sky Train (BTS) to the tourist traps, after all the BTS is only a short 5 minutes walk away.Originally posted by jianfish9:Never really venture too far out of tourist trap before so could you give me a rough estimation of travelling time by cab to the "tourist traps"
Maybe you could post some pics?
I guess you really have to appeal to the seasoned bangkok go-ers. Normally first timers usually choose a hotel more centralized.
I remember another forumner actually ran a hotel or tour agency in Vietnam as well if I am not wrong.
Haha you are definately an old-timer... most people tend to avoid the further places, but actually they only save about 5-10mins travelling time but pay so much more for hotels!Originally posted by elindra:Wah liao then say Onnut la
Definately interested
I usually stay in Asok coz I go there for Biz
But for holiday Onnut works
I stay in Asok only because I like the Westin Grande HotelOriginally posted by bangkokboy:Haha you are definately an old-timer... most people tend to avoid the further places, but actually they only save about 5-10mins travelling time but pay so much more for hotels!
Oh it's at the Onnut/Phra Khanong District, Onnut BTS. Now still doing some market studies, haha, so not sure if this project will go thru.Originally posted by casshern:agreed, i went in May for my 1st time and i got around with the BTS. i will try out the MRT on my next visit
