is it ok to give dog eat mixed rice?

  Pets require less cholesterol, salt etc... than a human. Might end up with them having diabetes, kidney problems and so on. If you want to feed them human food, raw meat, vegetables works fine. Cooked rice is okay as long as you don't add any seasoning I suppose.

  my friend just boils the chicken meat shred it, mix with rice and boiled vege. no seasoning or whatever.

  We do the same for our dog, Pooch. She's a real pampered labrador retriever.. fat, happy, shiny eyes and ebony coat! Won't touch regular dog food, so I guess it must taste real bad compared to real meat. She's getting abit tubby so nowadays we remove all the chicken fat. haha

  some pure breeds are not suitable to be fed with humans food. they get skin allergy. mine is one of them.
  
  stray dogs are more healthy and stronger. they are built to survive with left overs.
  
  anyway i fed my dog with plain white rice sometimes. just dun add your other cooked dishes along with it.

  no, no good for the dogs. If you just feed it once, think it is OK, but not everyday.

  Well for me,
  
  I do feed them when there any leftover, would mix some veggie and cut it to really small pcs and together with some chicken( make sure its not salty) and mix it with rice.
  
  after he finish, i will bring him for a walk of half an hour.
  
  Well, won't you get bored eating the same dry food over and over again, i bet our dogs do.

  If the food is healthy for you it is healthy for the dog.
  Watch the salt and seasoning.
  
  Pet food, although they contain all the nutrients a pet needs, is boring food, imagine the pet eating the same bits everyday for years. Also pet foods contain additives, to whip up the pets appitite. These additives may cause kidney failures in the long run. Also some of the things that go into pet foods, are not fit for consumption, even for animals.
